Blush Creekside Wedding at Messina Inn | Hadley + Devon

Bride and groom share their first kiss by the creek at Messina Inn

Hadley was the most chill client there ever was. Every couple has their own unique vision for their big day, but some couples, like Hadley and Devon, stand out as particularly special. From the very beginning, we knew Hadley had a deep love of flowers, and we were thrilled to bring her soft, upscale, romantic vision to life.

This blush and peach wedding by the creek was held at Messina Inn, a stunning venue that we know like the back of our hand. We worked closely with Hadley to ensure that her floral dreams were realized in every aspect of the design. She wasn’t sure how to bring her fluffy, blushing vision to life but we knew. For their beautiful ceremony under the magnolia trees, we created colossal arrangements that were used for the aisle and were later repurposed as centerpieces for the reception tables. We made sure there were flowers peeking out everywhere: in her hair, on the dance floor, framing the couple, in the fountain, EVERYWHERE.

The ceremony space flooded with flowers under the magnolia trees

We achieved her dream florals by using a mix of blush garden roses, peach cosmos, white delphinium, seeded eucalyptus, blush mums, peach anemones, ruscus, and blush spray roses. There were also hints of blush dahlias, scabiosa, ranunculus, and jasmine throughout our floral recipe. These flowers are often used together in floral arrangements because they complement each other's colors and textures. The blush and peach tones created a soft, romantic palette, while the white delphinium and seeded eucalyptus added height and texture to the arrangement.

Hadley's unique love of succulents and her sweet pup also played a big role in the wedding design. We crafted beautiful wedding favors using succulents and even created a floral dog collar for her beloved fur baby. Check out the gallery below to see that they included succulents in their cake design as well.

On the big day, Hadley looked stunning in her sexy mermaid dress and gorgeous updo.  I only cried a little - it was hard not to shed a few tears of joy as we watched her and Devon exchange vows. Their chemistry was palpable and they were clearly enthralled with each other. Their vibe was contagious, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere for their guests. The wedding felt family-oriented and intimate despite having plenty of guests. We were so honored to work for her!

We wish Hadley and Devon a lifetime of love and happiness together, and we're grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of their special day.
